What is Springfest? Springfest was inspired by one of the most energetic and outgoing parties in Lake Tahoe, Lake Tahoe's Snowfest. This year’s Snowfest, in its 8th year, was again super epic, and we wanted to capture the essence of Snowfest at Kirkwood. Kirkwood is an amazing resort uniquely positioned to generally get above average snowfall and snow quality than most other mountains.

We’re working with the Rockstar Youth Hostel to get you quality lodging at a discount price. An air pusher is a piece of machinery that is used to drill holes in particularly difficult rock formations. These holes are typically used to fasten roof bolts in below-ground structures.

Drilling

1. Air pushers are used to drill horizontal and inclined blast holes in rock of medium hardness, such as softer granite.

Roof Bolting Holes

1. In projects that require bolting holes, an air pusher can be used to make these holes. Railroads, mines and conservation projects use air drillers for their projects.

Weight

1. The machinery weighs over 100 lbs., which requires it to be held by more than one person or by a machine.

Drilling Depth

2. The air pusher is capable of drilling five meters into rock. This will give railroad bolts good stability when they are in use.

Three Key Parts

3. The three key parts of the tool are the cylinder, the front head and the back head. These are all reinforced to give the air pusher greater stability, durability and impact resistance.
